The distinct upper level forms as a shallow shelf along the top wall. Since it doesn't cover the viaduct scene, said scene has room to visually "breathe".

Along the right wall and above the center dividing wall is Circleville, Ohio, where my father grew up watching trains and to which I've had a direct connection until my maternal grandmother died in 2012 at 101 years old.

Circleville peters out to the left (compass North), circles the end wall, then completes a reversing loop at the lower right by passing through the wall and returning to the South (compass) end of Circleville, forming the upper (and last) reversing loop).
