Tie Anchor Method 3 - Styrene Glue

Tie Anchor Method 3 - Styrene Glue

I really like this method, in which I applied a small drop of Testor's styrene glue to the ends of the ties - it's quick and effective. It works because the Central Valley ties are styrene; the glue dissolves the end of the ties just enough that it bounds to the Homasote. In spite of that, if I later need remove the tie for any reason, the bond can be easily broken with a quick pass of a #11 X-Acto knife.
