Excavation and sub-grading complete. A concrete curb about 8" high forms the base of the stone wall on the right. I've drilled three 3/4" holes through this about 2" above the new sub-grade. These holes will align with a strata of paver sand to allow an outlet for water if it can't be absorbed into the surrounding soil quickly enough. That's the theory anyway.
