After a conversation with my Dad, we decided to lower the base benchwork about 3.5" to allow for more negative elevation change in the landscape relative to the track level (~ 37").
This photo was taken halfway through the lowering process - the laser line in the foreground is the new target.
- New module back board attached to the wall directly under the original.
- Benchwork detached from the walls , temporary legs were clamped onto the structure and it was "walked" down.
